All of the photos below, except one, look fantasy Haute Couture rather than Ready to Wear, the poor buyers what are they going to order especially from Chanel?
Alexander McQueen completed 16 pieces at the time of his death and his inspiration was the Dark Ages. As I was looking at these photos I got carried away by the details on the three outfits I selected. The head-gear the feather like applique on the clothes and the colors, on some of the other outfits shown yesterday there were Angels and Christ as well - religious symbolism, the eagle represents Christ, the Phoenix is Resurrection and the last one the Raven represents the Satan, greed and ill-fortune. Free association how did I get here? I promise to return to planet Earth and nail polish soon.

And onto much lighter and funnier delight from Chanel, I can only think of one word for this - Yeti fashion. I looked at the photos on Style.com this morning and I burst out laughing, I mean how can they even keep a straight face wearing those clothes /strike that/ clothes are the wrong word here.

This beautiful ice blue and white angora dress is one of the few outfits that are really nice. I love this color!

I like these posts where you add fashion photos and sometimes tie it into nail polish ---- it's okay to stay 'in orbit' - it's where I am most of the time.
