China Glaze Green Glitter - Sour Apple Konad

I do not really like lime green colored anything, including nail polish and Sour apple is lime green. I decided to make it a little more green with a thin layer of green underneath. Ny Amaranth is not very pigmented, using just one coat is almost see through, but enough to give the green glitter a little more depth. Sour Apple is opaque at three coats, there is so much glitter in the bottle that I prefer one or two coats. The glitter in this polish is synthetic, smooth just perfect for the konad treatment.

Products used from left to right:

Chanel Protective Base Coat, NY Amaranth (1 coat), China Glaze Sour Apple (2 coats), Konad special polish Black, Orly in a Snap Fast Drying Top Coat

Susuies 1955 thank you very much! When I first started konading I could not imagine how I could make it work, but now I really enjoy it and more or less can do what I want with it, not always lol

Well I have to confess. Konad makes their packaging so you can open it-try it-and put it back so I tried it. It didn't look too nice.
I did do it on old chipped polish though. I didn't get anything remotely lined up. The images were smoshed and half there at times.
I know practice, practice. :)

susies1955 don't give up look where I progressed, the very first time I tried everything was off and I thought why did I waste my money, this is never going to work, but it does, keep trying the only thing is I still cannot line it up I can live with that it's still fun!

Thanks! :) I won't give up. I'm use to learning curves. I quilt, hand knit, machine knit, machine embroder, cake and cookie decorate, t-shirt transfer, purse making, Rachael Ray cooking, and Harley ride with my husband about 10,000 miles a season. :)
I'll look over your older posts. Can't wait.

susies 1955 lol minus the harley ride I tried everything on you list, I would say this is a piece of cake compared to cake decorating and machine embroidery, those two resulted in the highest frustration level I have ever experienced
